Our Story

Miracles Happen Here...
Thanks isn't enough for all those who continued to support our efforts during a long 2 year displacement.
We made it together...that's remarkable!
Our predecessor organization, Advancing Life Learners, was founded in 2020 with just two staff members and a handful of students. As our program grew, so did our impact. We expanded to a team of five staff members serving seven students, witnessing firsthand how small-group learning environments foster meaningful growth, confidence, and connection.
Just three days before the start of the 2023-24 school year, tragedy struck when our building experienced catastrophic damage from a ceiling water pipe break. The damage was devastating. Water destroyed much of our facility, and the intense Arizona heat caused mold to spread rapidly, making it impossible to continue in the space.
Rather than giving up, Becky spoke with families and heard their pleas. With incredible families, their patience and flexibility, Becky and her amazing staff continued to provide educational opportunities in unique settings while choosing to rebuild something more remarkable. She and her dedicated staff worked tirelessly to keep students learning together in homes, at parks, even in an American Leadership Academy classroom where Becky had professional connections.
During this time, Becky also worked hard to establish a fully functioning 501(c)(3) nonprofit. She created Autism Learning for Life, which was an approved NFP for years. However, her focus demanded attention on teaching students and she was unable to get A.L.L. up and running as a NFP until others offered their help. Autism Learning for Life (A.L.L.) is now a more sustainable foundation providing a stronger future, ensuring our mission continues, regardless of unforeseen challenges, through the kind and generous donations of others.
Our journey has been filled with devastation, but not without miracles along the way. Most businesses would have failed, but our loyal families would not allow this. Our parents sacrificed time, energy, and tuition amounts to keep staff paid a manageable wage as services were on a daily standby, which caused great anxiety. Thanks to the loving and very generous support from The Autism Learning Center we now have the beautiful opportunity to bring students to a safe, peaceful, and welcoming environment where friendships and learning remain a priority. The wait was filled with challenges, but we prevailed!
Today, Autism Learning for Life leases this beautiful property M-Th and is better than ever. With a team of ten highly qualified staff, a board of dedicated moms and other family members, renewed vision, a focused foundation, and an unwavering commitment to our students and families, we look forward to helping every learner build the skills they need for a lifetime of success.
